WHO ARE WE?

Over the past 50 + years Temples has been involved in a variety of transport market segments and engaged in many different logistics activities. There wouldn’t be too many products that we haven’t transported at one time or another around Perth. In 2004 the company decided to narrow it’s focus and concentrate on a few specialist areas where we felt we had a degree of expertise in and could really leverage our strengths. We are still working at being better today than we were yesterday. The journey to excellence continues.

We have a number of different business units that make up our company. Some of the types of activities we are involved in are:

  • Storage and Distribution – we store, consolidate and distribute a variety of freight types around the state. Our chemical storage and warehouse business in one of the largest of it’s type in Western Australia.
  • Livestock Transport – we catch live poultry, put them in purpose built modules and then transport them to processing plants.
  • tockfeed Transport – we transport palletised feed for the poultry and pork industry around the Perth region.
  • Waste Transport – a variety of waste product is removed from our client’s sites and taken to disposal facilities.

Temples has concentrated on the ‘unusual’ logistics task and likes to develop close relationships with our clients in the order to service their very specific needs.

One of the amazing aspects of Temples is the length of service of our people and over 20 years is pretty normal. Our longest service driver has over 40 years behind the wheel. A small number of our staff have left over the years to pursue other interests, only to come back again. As they say ‘the grass may look greener over the fence, but…….…….’
