Loading chickens at the farms into crates to transport to the processing plant in the 60’s.

Loading sheep boats with feed at Fremantle Harbour in the 70’s, up to 20 trucks would be used at once to ensure a quick turnaround.

Temples new Spearwood facility opened by the Hon Sir Charles Court, Premier of Western Australia, on the 12th of March 1981. The stonemason pictured still applying the finishing touches, was originally bought over from the USA to build the King Neptune Mindarie Keys sculpture that many of us are still familiar with. The Temples board commissioned him to stay a bit longer and carve out a truck from limestone to sit at the entrance of the new facility.

Company of the year award presented to Jim Temple by the infamous WA Premier The Hon Brian T Burke MLA in 1983. This was a prestigious award and Temples was delighted to be so highly thought of by the business community of Western Australia.

Temples Ltd prospectus dated the 30th Dec 1983 to float the company on the Australian Stock Exchange. The original stock offer closed oversubscribed and the company floated in 1984.

The way accounting was done in 1987. At this time we thought whiteout was a pretty nifty invention!!
